At the close of Pre-enrolment on Thursday, April 15th, we had not attained the maximum number of students for the French Immersion program. As such, all French Immersion kindergarten students that pre-enrolled have been accepted and there will be NO random selection.

Regular program Kindergarten and Grade 1 will not be offered at École Holyrood School next year due to low enrolment. Students in the Regular English program for these grades will be directed to Avonmore School for the 2021–22 school year, or families can choose to register at another school with space.

Principal's Message

Welcome to Holyrood School!

Welcome and bienvenue to Ecole Holyrood School, a wonderful school community. Continuing in the tradition of this exceptional learning community you will find that we focus on academic excellence, as well as responsible and cooperative behaviour. We are dedicated to promoting intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth in a safe and caring environment.

Our dedicated staff in our English and French Immersion Programs focus on continued professional growth to support teaching and learning that meets the Alberta Curriculum standards and the varied needs of our 21st-century learners. Further to this, our students enjoy opportunities to be involved in clubs and special events throughout the year. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated parent community that sees education as a shared responsibility between home and school. Regular communication is encouraged as an important part of a student’s learning journey. The active involvement of parents is much appreciated and plays a key role in the success of our learners.

The Ecole Holyrood School team looks forward to working with families to provide an excellent educational experience for your children.
