Labour Action Updates

Support staff with the Division served notice to begin a strike Monday, January 13, 2025. Get updates.

WELCOME AND BIENVENUE!

The 2024-25 school year is underway with lots of great learning happening.  Holyrood offers programming primarily in French Immersion for Kindergarten through Grade 6.  We are phasing out our English program but still have classes in Grade 5-6.  We will only be offering English programming in Grades 5 and 6 for the 2024-25 school year.  Any new registrations for our English program must live within our attendance area.

For the 2025 - 2026 school year, Holyrood School will accept new registration beginning February 3, 2025. We no longer offer Kindergarten to Grade 5 in regular program and will only accept resident students in Grades 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enroll in another Division school with space in planned classes.

If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.

Open House: Thursday February 6 from 4:30-6:00pm

Please come and join us and meet many of the staff and community members that support Holyrood’s French Immersion program, making our school community such an exciting place to learn. Further to this, our students enjoy opportunities to be involved in clubs and special events throughout the year. We are very fortunate to have a dedicated parent community that sees education as a shared responsibility between home and school. Regular communication is encouraged as an important part of a student’s learning journey. The active involvement of parents is much appreciated and plays a key role in the success of our learners.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of the students and families at Holyrood School.  We are extremely proud of the learning and achievement that takes place at our school.  Through the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students and staff as well as with the support of our incredible community of parents, our students are growing up to be great leaders.
